We bring together a collective of hand-picked, qualified psychosexual and relationship therapists who are passionate about supporting individuals and couples. Our work invites exploration of erotic templates, patterns of relating, and the development of skills that support intimacy and emotional connection. We provide therapy that is grounded, non-judgemental, and non-pathologising.
Our approach is integrative and clinically grounded. We draw on a range of therapeutic models and may incorporate tools such as EMDR, EFT (tapping), and mindfulness where appropriate. Therapy is always adapted to the needs, pace, and context of each client, rather than following a one-size-fits-all model.
Intima Therapy is an inclusive, sex-positive space. We offer LGBTQIA+ affirming and Kink-aware therapy. Our therapists are informed by a GSRD (Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversity) perspective and have experience working with diverse identities, desires, and relationship structures.
We welcome people of all genders, sexual identities, relationship configurations – including monogamous, non-monogamous and polyamorous – as well as people from diverse cultural backgrounds, faiths, and abilities. The diversity of our therapists reflects our values.
All therapists on the platform charge the same fee, so you can focus on what matters most – areas of specialism, lived experience, cultural sensitivity, and, above all, who you feel most at ease with.
Our therapists come from diverse cultural backgrounds and offer sessions in multiple languages, including English, French, Greek, Portuguese, Farsi, and Hungarian.
For many people, being able to work in their first language or with someone who understands their cultural context can make a real difference. We see the therapeutic relationship as central to the work.

Therapy is a reflective, collaborative process – a space to explore thoughts, emotions, relationships and patterns over time, and how they impact present feelings and behaviours. It isn’t crisis management or emergency support.
The first one or two sessions are usually an assessment phase, where you and your therapist get a sense of what’s bringing you, your history, and whether working together feels like a good fit. From there, therapy can be short-term and focused, or long term, depending on your needs and goals. Some therapists may also offer fortnightly sessions rather than weekly, where this feels appropriate for the work you agree on together.
If you’re in immediate distress or feel unsafe, it’s important to seek urgent support. In the UK, you can contact Samaritans (116 123), Saneline (0300 304 7000), or Shout by texting SHOUT to 85258.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Some therapists may also offer longer sessions for couples or specific types of work, which will be clearly noted on their profile or discussed during the introductory call.
The cancellation notice for the first session is 48 hours. After that, each therapist has their own cancellation policy, which will be shared clearly before you begin. Most require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Intima Therapy is based in the UK, and our services are provided in line with UK law and our therapists’ professional insurance. Therapy is available to adults aged 18 and over, and only in countries where our insurance allows us to work. Unfortunately, this means we’re not able to offer therapy in some countries such as the USA and Canada. Full details about eligibility and location are set out in our Terms & Conditions.
Whether you’re clear about what you’re looking for or still finding the words, we’re here to help you move forward at your own pace.
